It’s playoff time, and Foothill had no trouble coming through when it counted. They had just enough and edged the Walnut Mustangs out 2-1 on Wednesday. The result kept the Knights happy, as they haven’t lost a game since January 7th.
Hannah Werdel and Leslie Lopez scored both of Foothill’s goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.
Foothill’s victory bumped their record up to 9-7. They advance to the 2nd Round of CIF Playoffs in a game at Grand Terrace on Friday 2/14.
